Congratulations if you managed to stay out of the water all day! As you've found out the course is full of hazards! Thankfully we picked the best day for the weather and it was nice and warm. It's been hit and miss lately so thankfully we got a good days golf in!

 

A huge well done to Robbie and Sam at the top of our leader board today. Two fantastic gross scores. In testing conditions.

When going out to collect the nearest pin markers they were all exceptionally close. Congrats to all our winners.

 

We're back at Deane next Friday and then Leigh next Sunday,both available to book online.

 

On a sombre note, a member of our tour Paul Connell passed away this week. Paul had been battling with blood cancer and very sadly lost his battle. Paul was a regular visitor for the last two years before becoming ill. 

Just 49 years old, Paul played at Haigh Hall Golf Club and played with the Dog and Partridge Golf Society. Paul was one of the nicest blokes you could meet, quiet at first but then as you got to know him he came into his own. An extremely kind and warm character. 

 

I'm sure I speak for everyone who knew Paul and everyone who had played with him, when wishing his family and friends our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Paul Connell.
